The photographer, Matt Hommeyer describes this series as, "For the majority of these photos, I tried to pull back from the action and get a sense of both the climber and the line of the problem itself. Close-ups are, by and large, more artistically interesting, but I wanted the rock to be presented too, for the benefit of those who may not have been to the Gunks before.
