Gunks legend John Bragg first did the standing start of this problem (Bragg's Grab) on a one day visit to the woods back in the day. A few years back, Ward Smith added the sitstart and dubbed it Warhawk. A great problem with a tricky sit start, cool arete slapping, and a bad landing, Warhawk climbs the arete on the backside of the Peace Dove boulder. Rated V8 in the guidebook, recent ascentionists have placed this grade in doubt. Please cast your vote below.
